Sibelius 5.2.5, Intel Dual Xeon 1,6 GHz 2,0 GHz, 3 GB RAM, CAMB - JABB - VDL2.5 (Small question: is there some debugging kind of tool which logs/show all the CC's being sent between Sib and KP2? Then I maybe could solve this kind of problems easier in the future myself) So Sib does know how to do it, but I can't get it right in my score.Ĭan anyone explain to me why this is happening and, more importantly, how can I fix this? Now the weird thing: when I go to House Style > Edit Instruments, All Instruments, Orchestral Unpitched Percussion, Temple Blocks and then the Edit Instrument button, and then the Edit Staff Type button, then I get a nice single auto RL hit sound. Inserting a hidden ~C1,0 (CC 1 is the modwheel, right?) doesn't solve the problem. According to the VDL manual a MW value of 0-64 means Auto Right/left hits and a MW of 65-127 means a roll. I've looked further into this and it seems that Sibelius is constantly (that is: on every note) setting a modwheel value of 127 to the temple blocks instrument. The temple blocks are playing, but ONLY in a roll, something I'd not want. ![]() I have a percussion stave which has at some moment an instrument change to "All Instruments > Orchestral Unpitched Percussion > Temple Blocks". At the moment I'm struggling with a temple block problem. I've recently bought VDL2.5 and I'm really impressed about the amount of sounds. 5.2.5: VDL2.5 Temple blocks roll - MIDI C.
